I find the town of Rockton just as much a main character as Casey, Eric, Will, et al. I really enjoy the setting and the concept of this mysterious town, and I like seeing how Casey is settling into things.
There were some very tense moments making it worth sticking it through; this book felt long towards the middle, and there were times the writing seemed to go in circles…but overall, it was a good read and I plan on continuing with the series.
