Underneath It All
by Kate Canterbary
This book was almost okay. Premise was great. It was way too long though—felt like at least 400 pages, turns out it was less than 300. Yikes.
I hated the way the hero pretty much only ever talked about sex to the heroine, even though that’s what they pretended was the only reason they were getting together. It felt really gross, especially on top of his OTT stalkery texts.
As for the heroine, I liked her at first, then she got super annoying with her constant “I like him too much-don’t have time-pushing away now” issues. It got old fast and then continued to happen.
So... maybe I don’t actually feel like this book was that close to being okay for me.
