Dracula by Bram Stoker

2.75

honestly, i'm a bit disappointed. it definitly didn't read as i thought it would. it consisted of mostly diary entries, which isn't bad, per say, but it was a bit confusing at times. there were so many characters and i kept getting them mixed up.

i thought the novel would be centered around dracula, with the story being told from his perspective, but alas... the story showed the reader people who had been terrorized by the count.

something that i found interesting was the medicine of the 19th century. it was so different from today's standards. although, i hated the ending. it didn't make sense and it was very dissatisfying. i wish there had been a big fight between the humans and dracula. you're such a coward, count!

the weird timeskip at the end... no... but! i'm happy to have read the OG vampire story.
