Broken Whispers

Rating: 3.5
I absolutely adore Mikhail and Bianca are literally the most wholesome mafia couple I have read. I love that Mikhail has this softness when he is with Bianca. Bianca is the kindest soul and doesn't care about the physical characteristics that people find scary about Mikhail. Bianca immediately takes her younger sister's place because her father was going to send her little sister to be collateral for the war against the Russians. Bianca lost her voice in an accident and she normally signs or types her words. The biggest fight between them is that Mikhail lied to her for a while that he couldn't understand ASL.
This book doesn't have much going on in terms of an extensive plot other than Bianca's father ends up having it out for Mikhail. This book rated high for me though because it is about healing and accepting the flaws that others see.
