I must admit I went into this apprehensive, when I read this the first time I absolutely loved it! I devoured it and it became my whole life! My everything! I couldn’t stop raving about how awesome this book (and the series were)…but then I started reading more and more reviews and watching videos on booktube. I started seeing more and more comments about how they do not like the book because the couldn’t excuse Cardon’s behaviour and the actions of him…

I wondered if a reread would taint my perception of the book, skew my original perception to one of agreeing with the comments…

However I am pleased to say that I would not let a review or comment taint my personal feelings of a book and no matter how many reviews I see that do not like his actions I wasn’t swayed.

Second time through I still absolutely loved it! It’s the perfect formula for me:
  • A sexy gorgeous prince
  • Fae
  • Badass female MC who can kick ass
  • Teen angst
  • Murder, betrayal and scheming

I will still absolutely recommend this book (and series) to anyone I can!
