This is a sweet YA romance novel about finding your “people.” I really think I would’ve enjoyed this book a lot as a high schooler. Unfortunately, my dad shares the same name as Riley’s dad and he also is diabetic and obsessed with his own hobbies, but

unlike Riley’s dad he doesn’t come around to improving communication and taking an interest in his kids’ lives lol

which made this book a little difficult for me. It’s so oddly specific though that I don’t think it will affect other people so negatively lmao. This book is a fun read but it also made me feel so old 😭 like the “oldies” being Michael Jackson 😭
