The Raven King by Nora Sakavic

4.0

Book two of the All for the Game trilogy, we pick up right where The Foxhole Court left off. The band of misfits that makes up the Palmetto State Foxes exy team continue their season in the wake of Seth's death. Now that Ricco has made it clear of what he is capable of, the Foxes are determined to do their best at staying below the radar. But the Raven's won't make it easy on them.

These are super quick books to get through. The characters are unlike most you read about, it moves pretty quickly, and there's enough action and mystery to keep your interest. My wish for a bit more information on Neil especially continues through this book, though I do feel like we are able to piece together more about his life before the books started. I do like the mystery element that surrounds Neil, as well as the other Foxes, but I always feel like there's something I'm missing about his past that I should already know. I also really like that, like I said, these are characters you don't normally read about all at once. It's a very diverse group of characters which I always love since it's more true to life.

I am definitely ready to jump into The King's Men with how The Raven King ended, and luckily I have my next credit on Audible so I can get right into it!
