Broken Hearts by Chelle Bliss

5.0

Chelle Bliss returned to the Open Road series with an emotional, later in life romance that sucked me in from the first chapter and held onto me until the end. I have loved this entire series and Broken Hearts was an excellent edition. I loved the cameo from Arrow as he was one of my favorite MMC's from this series.

Lacey has her dream job and thinks life is finally going her way until she suffers yet another broken heart from a lying man. Deciding she was done with love and focusing on her career, she gets thrown another curveball when her douchebag ex ends up being the father of her latest bride, and her life turns upside down.

Enter her employee, Eagle, the former biker that serves as security for her at events. He's drifting along, not happy that his MC club is now legit, and has no idea what he wants from his life...other than his hot boss that he's been pining after for 2 years.

Eagle comes to Lacey's rescue against her ex and his horrible family as they ruin her career, and subsequently never leaves her side. What these two come to mean to each other, and the way they support and care for one another was absolutely beautiful. They steam up the pages in and out of the bedroom and build a bond that heals them both. They come together as two broken hearted individuals and come out the other side as one whole healed heart that only beats for the other.

The way Chelle Bliss delivers, heart, heat, emotion, and a twist of suspense never ceases to amaze me, and this is why she is one of my auto read authors. If she writes it, I'm devouring it.
