Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.

I can understand why reviewers find this book good, I just don’t have the heart for it. It’s gut wrenching depressing about the reality of the prison system that I was okay with. Really it was the disturbing inner thoughts of horrible men that did me in. I understand the literary importance of including them, I’m just too sensitive and honestly don’t want to spiral into dwelling on the objectification of women.
