What can you do when everything you have wished for comes true but it wasn't what you were expecting? When the thing you have worked so hard for so long turns out to be the opposite of what you were expecting? James was not always a pirate, and he definitely didn't have a hook instead of a hand, but when after a series of events he completed his fate, he turned into the mad pirate we all know as Captain Hook

I have no words to describe how empty I feel now that I finished the book. The Book of Fairy Tales is something you shouldn't mess with. Once it's written, there is no way to "un-write" it. It's sad to see how many characters were forced to be the villain, when they thought they were the heroes of their own stories. Don't mess with the Odd Sisters, that's the lesson here.

Poor Captain Hook was not always the mad men we know, running away from a crocodile. With this book we get to see his side of the story and how we was just another victim of the Odd Sisters mischievous traps.

I have loved this series so much I will always recommend it. Except for books 3 and 4, it has been a great reading full of magic and nostalgia by remembering my all time favorite characters. 5 out of 5.
