This was a great book! It felt very different from a lot of other thrillers and I loved the way it was told. It felt like watching a courtroom drama and it was really intense in places. I loved the different perspectives we got and how everything came together to answer the question of what happened to Layla. The story was such a sad, tragic one and it was difficult to read about. I felt really bad for Martha and Scott. I had mixed feelings towards Becky because I wasn’t sure if I could believe she was innocent or guilty! The exploration of the sibling relationship was great and it was so interesting to see how the death of Layla effected the family involved. There weren’t any huge twists - other than the big reveal - but it was still an engaging and mysterious read. I did see the ending coming and overall the story was quite predictable.  There were literally only like 15 pages spent on the reveal and epilogue which wasn’t enough for me. It felt rushed and I still had unanswered questions. It was definitely fast paced and really easy to read - I enjoyed it a lot!
