Immortal in Death by J.D. Robb

5.0

These books just get better and better. I'm glad Eve is opening up to more and more people who adore her instead of trying to play the aloof, robotic cop. I mean, she still does that act MOST of the time, but she's doing a better job of letting the people in her life in. Mavis, Leonardo, Dr. Mira, Peabody -- and BTW, I kinda saw the plot headed in that direction from the start, sadly -- and of course Rourke (she IS marrying the guy, after all).

To put it shortly, I love this series. I don't know why I haven't read it before. I can't stop. As in, I have the next two on loan from the library and will likely make very short work of them and move on to the next five. XD
