An incredible work of literature. Unfortunately, I can't help but see how Kafka viewed women. It's unsettling but nothing out of the ordinary for the average man. Couldn't help but roll my eyes every-time a female character was part of a chapter. Considering the character in the book is very clearly supposed to be him, the way he views himself made me understand why he burned 90% of his material, and wanted all of this gone too. Completely understand him, with all the qualms I have about the way he writes women I can't help but find Kafka way too relatable.
