I already wish I could forget this book and go read it for the first time. But I’m okay with rereading it multiple times.

I’m a HUGE romance fan. It’s my guilty pleasure, a staple in my life and any chance to binge one, I’ll take. But I did not expect to love Scandalized THIS much. I’d rate it as my number one read this year. And most definitely my number one romance.

Ivy Owens somehow puts emotions on paper so well that the reader is experiencing themself. And not just as a “looking through the glass” type but actually feeling the excitement, giddiness, sadness and every other emotion present.

Georgia is a lovable, career driven character. And normally in romance the main characters are a little dumb, I guess you could say. Not that they aren’t smart but that they get angry about something that could have easily been talked through and it doesn’t happen once. I could forgive once or twice (we all do dumb things in the name of love) but it’s every chapter. We all know that character. But not Gigi, she has her moments but most importantly, she actually thinks things through and doesn’t let a jealous streak and lack of communication ruin a good, developing relationship.

I don’t know what to say about Alec. Just read the book honestly. I could try a thousand different ways to describe him, to portray the type of character he is. But I will never to him justice. The only one capable of that is Ivy Owens.

If you like romance, do yourself a favor and please pick Scandalized up.
