I didn't like this book as much as the first one but I can't really say why. I just didn't connect with it as well and I wasn't as invested in the story or characters.

In fairness, this could be because I wasn't massively in the mood to read this book, but I decided to read it anyway since I had just read the first one.

Overall it was ok, and I respect that one of the decisions at the end was followed through. Not a lot of books do that so I was pleasantly surprised to see that the consequences of decisions actually came to be.
