I love the relationship between these two. They are growing as a couple, and I like that they aren't perfect; they know this and try to improve.
The team is still reeling after the events in the previous book, and Darren is finding hard to trust, especially with someone new on the team. There is a lot that happens in this one, and we see them solve multiple cases. There is some political mess thrown in, and we meet some new people. I loved Zach and Art, and the new ifirit we meet. We also have a big showdown in the spirit plane.
There are changes on the spirit plane, and we also find out about the evil ifirit. We also get some great character growth from Darren in this one.
