This was an entertaining read. I didn’t really connect with the main characters on a deeper level, yet I enjoyed them mainly throughout the first half of the book. Perhaps some elements of this story were somewhat implausible for the time period, but it was a story that held my interest nonetheless.
I look forward to reading the rest of this series.
