The Push by Ashley Audrain

3.0

I enjoyed reading this book. Was written as a true page turning psychological thriller. I liked the story line and how it shared the experiences of three generations of mothers. The ending felt very predictable and kind of a cop-out. It had the potential for a much fuller ending, up until that last page. I’m not a fan of books that make mothers seem “crazy” either, because it just adds to that misogynistic stereotype, but
I’m glad that they briefly showed Blythe was right in the end.
