An amazing read!! In the beginning I wasn’t sure if I would really like it since it had started slow but oh my GOSH!! It was just setting us up for everything else. The build up was crazy and honestly the ending was my favorite part. I *almost* rated it 4 stars because of the beginning taking a bit to pick up, but the entire ending just made it worth it and made the book 5 stars. It was the absolute best ending and I loved it and cried (of course because when don’t I cry for a book) and I just really enjoyed this book.

The TWIST?? I didn’t see it coming but I honestly kinda love it! I like how it makes you take a look at the whole book again and you’re just like damn. I also loved the spice! For me, I’d say it was 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 but also I absolutely ate every part of it up so someone who doesn’t like spice probably wouldn’t like those parts 😅

I also loved how we got to go through the book with Sadaré since we were learning the past as she was remembering it! UGH just thinking about it again like I loved this book! Definitely would recommend it!

Thank you to Simon & Schuster for sending me a physical ARC and to Adrianne May for writing this wonderful romantasy book!!
