I loved this! I think it’s brilliant and lots of fun. It’s very unusual in format, stopping the plot to discuss mystery techniques or rehash a story about a famous mystery writer. It breaks “rules” while discussing them! I really enjoyed all the references, twists, characters, history and meta style. It’s very playful with language too, like the title. A “kill” is a Dutch word for a stream.
