I did enjoy the twists but some details and subplots felt unnecessary. What was the purpose of learning that Nicole killed Tom's grandmother? To make it less of a shock that her and Anna murder Ollie? I liked the twists but at some point they become pointless and merely for shock and awe. That's what this felt like. And then ending with a date between the lead investigators. . . Odd choices in an overall fairly interesting story.
