Um... well then. What exactly was this supposed to be? Because thriller it was not. Horror it was not. Confusing AF? Yes. Boring? Yes.
There were SO. MANY. WORDS. I actually skipped pages at a time...sometimes whole chapters...and it didn't hurt the (lack of) story, IMO.
I am not normally so harsh in reviewing books, but....just....why? I think I enjoyed reading things from Mercy's POV more than whatever the hell Art was writing. It never really made sense...even after re-reading certain sections, and reading through some other reviews. I just didn't get it. Or maybe I didn't feel moved enough to get it.
