Wow. I loved this book.
Everly and Callum are such fully realized, complex characters. Everly is a fearless badass in the most gentle way, and Callum? A fucking dream. This incredibly dangerous demon is actually the sweetest, most loyal, and kind-hearted being in the whole series. His devotion to Everly is so romantic. I really love how this book shows that you don’t have to be loud, physically strong, or aggressive to be powerful.
Their chemistry is insane, and the spicy scenes? So good. I especially loved their versatile power dynamic—those moments where Everly takes control are a treasure.
The overall arc was great, and even though I already knew how it would end, the moments of tension still hit. And I adore how the coven house feels like a character itself, with the ghosts, wood sprites, and enchantments bringing it to life.
The epilogue? So cute. I just can’t get enough of Callum and Everly together—they’re adorable and ridiculously sexy.
Also, Callum’s grief arc was so touching. Seeing such a powerful and dangerous demon be so emotional and gentle was everything. Definitely a fictional man.
