This book had so many things going for it. Literally all of my book friends raved about it; I really liked the author’s other book, The Girl Who Could See; it was a Peter Pan retelling; the plot sounded interesting; and it even had a really cool cover. It was on my TBR ever since I heard about it and may or may not have squealed when I saw it was available on my library app.

It was okay. I liked the world building. I didn’t relate to Claire as much as I thought I would, and I didn’t like Peter/Ben. I kept reading, waiting for things to be resolved, only to find out at the end that there’s another book coming after this so the main conflict isn’t taken care of.

So...yeah. I’ll give it 3 stars since it was good, just not amazing like I’d hoped for, but probably will not read the sequel.
