Scorched Grace by Margot Douaihy
3.0

Love having a queer, tattooed, chain-smoking nun as our sleuth. But I wanted more atmosphere and intrigue. Besides Sister Holiday, all the other characters lacked dimension and were presented with so many red herrings that made me immediately cross them off my mental suspects list. I did predict the ending early on so the plot twist was not as shocking as I had hoped. It was a fun read with a promising premise but lacked that Gillan Flynn-esque plot-twist that I had hoped for.
