So, the ending was pretty hand-wavy -

how did she get those halos off her dragons? how did a halo that supposedly worked by making them all dragon, not human, even still WORK on Kain after she separated him from his dragon? like, why would evil witch lady even expect it to work? how did Linden become king, like what happened to daddy douche? what really happened to split apart the king and the solstice queen, anyway? did she love him? did he scorn her for her magic? what??

- but I was mostly in this for the characters, so I didn't care too much.

It was a fun, very fast series.
