Okay, this one was a wild ride. Picture Elsa by day, serial killer by night. I had a lot of fun listening to this. I wanted so bad for Maeve and Gideon to run off together on some sort of murder spree a la “You.” But homegirl lost it. Theres lots of moments of fever dream especially in the later half of the book. It was so immersive and descriptive, bringing horrifying images to my brain. But I liked it. A lot.
Highlights:
- “Let It Go” blasting during a torture/murder session
- the extended appreciation for “Werewolf Bar Mitzvah”
