The Autobiography of Malcolm X by Malcolm X

challenging emotional informative inspiring reflective sad slow-paced

5.0

While sometimes difficult to read, this is probably one of the most important books to better understand race in the United States. Malcom X was a man in many ways far before his time and deserves the praise he has gotten as time passes, as a man true to his principles and his beliefs, unafraid to say what he knows to be true. Alex Haley did a magnificent job helping him put his voice to paper, where it is now immortal.
