The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison
5.0
I'm not usually one for courtly intrigue focused novels but this rather unique fantasy book has certainly brought me round on the genre. There's a lot of wonderful world building in The Goblin Emperor along with a rather dizzying number of names, terms, and language subtleties to get to grips with but it absolutely gripped and captivated me. I have a feeling this will end up as a comfort reread book for me which isn't something that happens too often outside of Pratchett. I thought it was wonderful and really didn't want it to end.
