The Trapped Girl by Robert Dugoni

5.0

I LOVED this one. It was twisty and kept me on my toes! This was the best mystery of them all so far. And it had some good character development in it too compare to the 2nd and 3rd books, in my opinion.

I’m going to copy my commentary from while reading below:

  • The crabs ate the body… that probably happens a lot when bodies are dumped in crab habitats… I wonder how many people have eaten a crab that ate a murdered corpse…
  • 25% What does it say about the world’s current financial situation that I think the idea of a 500,000 trust doesn’t sound like very much?
  • 60% that was a wonderful proposal
  • And this investigation is getting extremely twisty and interesting. I’m really excited to learn what actually happened
  • 64% I love Del and Faz. I’m glad they are getting more page time. Now I could possibly use this book for the “made you laugh” square in this month’s Bookish First bingo board. Seems a bit wrong to use it for that, though. Being primarily about a murder.
  • 65% OMG DID ANDREA REALLY KILL DEVIN FOR SLEEPING WITH HER ASSHOLE OF A HUSBAND!
  • 68% Aw shit I’m so fucking excited about this case
  • 79% WHAT?! OMG he just confessed on planning to kill Andrea? WHAT IS HAPPENING THIS IS INSANE!
  • 92% I NEVER saw that coming! That was great!
