Last Star Burning
by Caitlin Sangster
What a coincidence that this shows up in my latest order at school the day after I finished the ARC! Big thanks to Simon & Schuster and Edelweiss for the advance copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This book packs a LOT in to 400
Pages. Set in a future China where influenza once ravaged the population, a new disease called SS is running rampant. The only scientist with a cure has been put into a permanent kind of sleep because of actions considered traitorous by the governing class. Her daughter, relegated to the lowest class due to her mother’s actions, finds herself accused of an attack she didn’t plan and on the run for her life. What she discovers outside the city walls could change the city as she knows it. This is great for dystopian fans and will leave readers eager for the sequel.
