This was a sweet, emotional coming of age story and I loved how the friendship and eventual budding relationship into 'more' between the two main characters was portrayed in a realistic way. I would've given this 5 stars but knocked one down because the conflict between Macy and Elliott felt extreme/not realistic in how much miscommunication there was. However, reading this gave me all the nostalgia vibes and brought me back to the great (and bad) times in my teens. It was an easy read and if you like emotionally deep stories, this is for you.
