started to find it a little boring after a strong start.... idk maybe I wanted a bit more plot and a bit less wittering on about neanderthals. like for a spy novel there is hardly any tension or intrigue. and I thought there would be more radical politics. feels unkind to fault it for not being the book I wanted it to be but there you go
