Libra by Don DeLillo

5.0

Lee Harvey Oswald provides a near perfect vehicle for Delillo's meditations on metanarratives, pseudonarratives, and the American psyche. Or maybe Nicholas Branch provides that, and Oswald is merely the canvas. The last 100 pages also function as a page-turning, propulsive action sequence, something a bit rarer in DeLillo's canon.
