Truly this book had me sobbing in the first chapter. The child voice the narrator was doing broke my fucking heart when Antsy saw her dad dead on the ground.
And then I cried again when Tyler showed up. Oh and felt physically ill.
This book broke me. And I'm surprised it took as long as it did in this series.
The world itself was probably not my favorite (and I HATED that Hudson and Venita (sp?) ended up being more grown-ups that Antsy couldn't trust. But given how viscerally it made me feel, it's a 4.5.
I hope we get to see more Antsy. And I cannot wait til the next book.
