this book really gave me exactly what i needed. it’s inspired me to start meditating, finding my dharma, and helped me become more aware of the current moment. my favorite lines are where he quoted “i am not what you think i am, i am not who i think i am, i am what i think you think i am.” and that needs to change for all of us. another good line was “the highest purpose is to live in service.” that really resonates with me. i’m vegan so i appreciate learning that monks are vegan. with so many good meditation practices including breathing and sound, this book will change your perspective on life.
