Icebreaker by Hannah Grace
4.0

Hello Grace, self labels herself as a fluffy comfort book author who writes contemporary romance novels. I need all honesty that is super accurate.

I loved every second of this book Anastasia‘s character development how she stands up for what she believes is right and how she much like every other human is somewhat struggling with her life, but puts on a good face as to not worry the people around her. She’s ambitious. She’s smart and she knows what she wants with her life. She’s very religious about planning having planned out her entire life which makes this even more interesting because it I can totally relate to the character on that aspect. She sees her goals, she works towards it and she knows what her expectations are for herself.

Enter Nathaniel Hawkins. In the book Anastasia says that Nate is a man written by a woman, and just word. Nate is kind, he is super sweet and he’s very thoughtful to Anastasia and is very supportive to her. However, he is his independent character as well. His character is not defined by Anastasia alone but is defined by his friendships, his love for hockey and his moral compass.

We also have characters that we fall in love with in this book. For me, it was Lola, JJ, Robbie and Henry and right off the bat I knew I will hate Aaron for the foreseeable future of this book.

This is actually a very cute romance book, but I felt it was a bit too much in terms of the smut included in this book which is why I have given it four stars instead of five.
