Twists on twists on twists! I loved this book! Faulkner really knows how to throw in those red herrings and keep you guessing until literally the last page. I had such a hard time putting this book down. The dual POVs of Tash and Sophie were woven together perfectly along the past timeline of Sophie and present of Tash. Every chapter left me frantically turning pages to see what information would come next. Aside from the murder mystery storyline, I really loved the look at motherhood in this book. Faulkner really showcased some of the darker points like postnatal depression, the comparison game between mothers and also the general mental, emotional and physical labor being a parent is. Also this book was crazy atmospheric with its English setting. Highly recommend this one!
