The Bishop Siblings have had my attention right from the first book in the Trilogy – Bishop’s Knight (Read My Review) and then my intrigue racketed up with Bishop’s Queen (Read My Review) – /b>but I had of course been waiting for the finale/conclusion to this trilogy for I NEEDED to know the answers to the mystery!

Ellis Bishop has been on the run for a while now, from the law and from his own agency, the DEA when he is accused of killing his partner while undercover – he is trying his best to actually prove his innocence without any blowback on his own siblings or family and at the same time trying to bring the real killers as well as some very corrupt officials in DEA to justice.

He kidnaps the stepdaughter of his nemesis, Arianna, to prove EXACTLY that – for who does she think she is fooling by the third grade teacher cover while taking vacation time in Cayman Islands? Pfft!

However, it doesn’t take long for Ellis to figure out he has been played for a fool and that someone; most probably the drug lord he is trying to take down is responsible for trying to set up his own stepdaughter.

Ellis is an amazing hero – he was steadfast, loyal and oh so protective; his alpha male tendencies reared their head out, even when he thought the Ariana was involved in the illegal activities.

Arianna, on the other hand, is a recovering alcoholic with a traumatic past that she hasn’t yet fully recovered from; but she is of course trying so hard. While she isn’t exactly close to her stepfather; she doesn’t really believe that he would ever wish her ill will. So the fact that she has been kidnapped by a man who thinks that she is involved with whatever nefarious activities that her stepfather is involved in; is the last straw for her.

She is strong, intelligent and enough sass, for even her kidnapper to sit up and take notice – and it made me sit up & notice her when she used her brains instead of being a simpering heroine who falls for her kidnapper. Not that she wasn’t attracted to him, she was but I am glad she used her presence of mind to ask for evidence before falling in love ;)

Well this was quite the conclusion to a trilogy that I had definitely enjoyed from the start – and while I am a bit sad to say goodbye to these characters, I am, however glad that they found their happiness and contentment.
