A book I swore I would never read has been chosen this month, and I had so much fun with it. So hear me out, is this a good book? No, it's not, but it is a fun read and one that I laughed out loud and couldn't put down, so in my book, it's fantastic. It is definitely on the weird side because this is basically an alien porno. I couldn't stop picturing Vektal as the Nightcrawler from X-Men. So this is a romance book mixed with a survival element since these women were abducted from Earth in the middle of the night while they were sleeping and crash-landed on this alien planet. I'm curious if we ever encounter their original abductors. Still, this series is 20+ books long. I have no clue how far this series can go since, at the base, it's a romance book between these stranded women and this alien species fighting off extinction.
It is such a weird book, though. The whole story here is just crazy; it's a wild ride. I can't get enough of this book. I'm curious about the rest of the series because I don't know how far this series can go without getting repetitive unless there's some new angle that comes into play. So I will do a series review on my blog, and we'll see how far I get in the series because I feel like once it gets repetitive, I'll get bored with it. But we'll see how this goes.
