I'm not sure if I just over hyped myself on this book or what, but I didn't love The Damaged as much as I loved The Insiders. I had such a hard time connecting with the storyline this time, parts of it just seemed really unrealistic and over the top, and I found myself easily distracted by other things than consumed like I was while reading The Insiders. Womp!
Kash and Bailey did give me all the feels in this book, so at least there's that. Plus the ending wasn't something I expected, so I'm willing to read book 3
