Thousand Autumns: Qian Qiu (Novel) Vol. 1
by Meng Xi Shi
adventurous
slow-paced
This took me ages to get into, mainly because of the constant jumping between present-plot, info-dumping, and past events. Very confusing, even for a danmei.
The characters are interesting as is the story, but the writing was kind of repetitive at times, it really took me out of the story (especially every time Shen Qiao's eyesight is described with the exact same phrasing...).
Will continue reading though because a friend of mine recommended Thousand Autumns to me and I want to talk to her about it 🫡🙏🏻
