An Abiding Fire by M.J. Logue

3.0

An Abiding Fire is a well written, intriguing novel with well-drawn characters and a wealth of historical information. Not being much of a history buff, I found this historical aspect of the novel fascinating and informative. The mystery woven into the history of the time was equally interesting, as was the social interplay between the characters. I enjoyed Major Thankful Russel and, particularly, the feisty Thomazine. Thanks to Sapere Books for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
