This was… alright. I’m not sure what it is about this author that I don’t seem to be able to connect to. I tried it with the fourth book in this series and I’m trying it again here. I did enjoy this better than book 4 but there still just something that doesn’t vibe with me.
This book did have its moments and I’m glad I didn’t drop it when I was getting a bit sick of it midway because the MCs are cute together and I’m glad they found their happiness. Just not my favourite.
I’m curious about the jock couple but I can foresee the pattern of not connecting with the book happening again, sadly. Not completely off the table through.
