Really struggled to get into this one, with the author (seemingly) struggling to find the balance between regency era and modernity. HOWEVER, it got significantly better as it went along.

I don’t know why they decided to market this as adult fiction, it very much gave YA. 

I adored the character Betty and was totally in love with Thomas. I also was very fond of the MANY taylor swift references through out… 

Very much Mean Girls meets Bridgerton!
