Absolutely brilliant! I loved the world building l, the relationships, the whole premise felt refreshing and the characters well thought out. I laughed at bits, and was on the edge of my seat for others. Such an interesting history and type of magic. The political intrigue was so interesting and mysterious. I'm not sure I trust any of them. I loved that there was potential romance set out and I can't wait to see what happens next! My favourite quote was  "I see you are seasoning me like chicken" haha
