I can't believe I made it to the final chapter without crying, then I lost it!
I spend so much time reading books based in fantasy worlds, with unknown places and imaginary creatures, that diving into such an emotional book based in the here and now was hard on me. With only 300 pages it should have been a quick read but I had to pace myself to deal with the feelings it brought out, and the imagery it created. Definitely one of the best reads I've had this year.
