I'm currently reading Us against you by Fredrik Backman. This is the second book in the Beartown series. This is my second read of this book. I'm listening to the audiobook.
Already know why I gave this a lower rating than part one, because there is so much information and details repeated from the first book. The first 100 pages are that. And that just really annoys me. The story itself is good of course and I just love the characters.
I probably won't reread this again to be honest. I found the first part very frustrating with all the information that was repeated. I also found with this one at the end that there was a point where it was a bit too much of a tearjerker. Didn't feel that with the first book, it felt realistic. This one didn't. Am excited to read the sequel, but secretly hope it will only be a trilogy.

Review 2021:
Not as good as the first book. There were some things repeated, actual sentences even, and I didn't like that. Story itself was also a bit less impactfull. Still a very good read.

Went straight into the second book after reading the first one. This one is also very good, but there are a lot of things repeated from the first book. Even certain paragraphs are almost the same as in the first one. Which feels a bit weird. I do think the story is still very good and am still loving the characters. Probably won't be as high of a rating as the first book.
This wasn't as good as the first book. As I said above there were still things repeated throughtout the whole book, which came across as very poor writing to be honest. You needed to borrow from your first book to write this one? Nope. Didn't like that. I did still enjoy the story with all the amazing characters and am glad I read it immediately after the first book. I gave this one 4 stars.
