I went into this book, knowing nothing, only being recommended it because I love Criminal Minds, and it was so much better than I could have hoped for. It felt like a prequel of Criminal Minds as it deals with the beginning of the BAU. I was so invested I read it in two days, over four sittings it was just so hard to put the book down. I loved the cast of characters and how the story was able to make you sympathize with almost all of them while still letting you know not all of them should be trusted. I would absolutely recommend this the same way it was recommended to me, to people who love Criminal Minds, because it truly felt like a multi-episode prequel adventure, and I cannot wait to pick up the second book!
