Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery

5.0

This might be my all time favourite book. It is a book that has always meant so much to me but after rereading it in 2018, it dawned on me how much of my identity and values had been implaced by this exquisite book. It meant the world to me as an eleven year old discovering myself and learning it is okay to be eccentric and intelligent. Ten years later, I see the value of Marilla and the other characters she impacts. The gorgeous writing and reflections and developments and foreshadowing and important lines repeated over again.
